ZERMA was founded in Germany in 1941 and has a long history in the supply of equipment for size reduction of plastic.
In the wake of globalisation, ZERMA Machinery & Recycling Technology Co. Ltd was established in Shanghai in 1999.
ZERMA offers a wide range of size reduction equipment from small beside the press granulators, medium sized sound insulated granulators, through to large granulators and shredders for heavy duty, high throughput applications.
The ZERMA range also includes Pulverisers to convert pelletized material into free flowing powder for various applications.
Ancillary equipment in the ZERMA range includes: in feed and out feed conveyors, metal detectors, bottle crammers, dust removal systems and granule blowing systems.
ZERMA is a world leader in the supply of granulation and shredding equipment and remains committed to the ongoing development of it's products. The ZERMA Shanghai workforce has grown steadily from 5 employees in 1999 to in excess of 400 in 2008. Approximately 5,000 machines are produced each year in three vast manufacturing buildings. ZERMA is committed to the welfare of all employees offering a safe, clean working environment. Staff are encouraged to develop their skills via in house and further education. Emphasis is placed on the importance of delivering a quality product to our customers and ZERMA implements strict quality control measures through all manufacturing stages.
