The slow speed machines of the GSL series have been
developed as a beside the press solution for injection and
blowmoulding applications. The unique cutting knife design
of the GSL allows sharpening of the rotor knives without the
use of specialised equipment, then precise installation in
the machine without adjustment.
The use of a direct driven gear develops increased torque,
allowing the machine to be started even when material
remains in the cutting chamber. Sound insulated hoppers
provide reduced noise emission and may be tailored to suit
specific customer requirements.
ZERMA compact Granulators of the GSC/GSE series are well
suited to granulation of injection and blow moulding scrap,
profiles, sheet and film thus making them ideal for in house
recycling.
The GSC series are fully enclosed in sound insulated panels
for reduced noise emission.
The ZERMA GS series are basic, robust granulators used for
medium range plastic recycling. Machines may be customized
for various applications:
Special feed systems are available, including feed hoppers
with bypasses for long parts and suction system with
optional dust and metal separation devices.
GS granulators are often used in combination with ZERMA
shredders in a two step size reduction system.
The GSH range of granulators is built tough and suited to
the most demanding applications. The heavy duty fabricated
steel rotor and cutting chamber are capable of withstanding
high shock loads. Bearings, knife mounts and the rotor have
been over engineered to ensure a long service life.
The GSH series is available with rotor widths up to 2,000 mm
for optimum throughput and performance. The optional third
knife may be removed or replaced depending on material and
application. This is particularly useful when optimising the
granulator performance for a range of materials from solid
parts and thick walled pipes through to low bulk density
films and hollow objects.
